Unidentical triplets

One evening at Lieksa when we were driving it happened to be the golden hour, so I said to my dad we should get to a place where I could capture the sunset. He knew there's a bridge nearby where we got just in the right time to witness the show.

Just next to the spot there was also some abandoned buildings of which I took a few shots.

All the pictures are taken only few minutes apart, but are very different from each others. Post-processing has its part in this too, obviously. Every shot is unique though, so they can end up completely different depending where I want to go with the shot. And the more I do post-processing, the more freedom it gives to have the result that satisfies me. I was about to say "the result I want", but it's not obvious that I always even know what I want to do with a given picture. I'm slowly developing some understanding on editing and how to do certain things, but I'm still discovering new things when fiddling with random sliders: "oh, so that's what it does!" Much more fun than tutorials :)

Who'd want three identical pictures? :P These are beautiful in their own unique ways. Glad to see you're really getting into the photography thing - these came out great!

Thanks, @honeydue. Photography is quite nice, especially when I feel much more legit with an actual camera amongst the people taking pictures with their phones :D

Hahaha I'm one of the phone-people :P Are you saying I should feel less legit? :D Nah, I get ya, it feels much better to have an actual camera, I know.

Are you saying I should feel less legit? :D

Nah, I was one of the phone-people too, and would still be if I had not been lucky and been given the camera.
