I recently found this photo while searching through my old phone pictures from 2013 and figured that I would post it for those who are into scenic photography. Hope that you like it.
The quality is not the best, but not too bad for an old phone. Feel free to use the picture for anything that you would like. I think it makes an excellent background, header or cover picture.
Pilot Mountain is a nice small town in northern / central North Carolina. The closest city is Winston-Salem and it is not far from the Virginia border.
About Pilot Mountain:
Pilot Mountain, a metamorphic quartzite monadnock rising to a peak 2,421 feet (738 m) above sea level, is one of the most distinctive natural features in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is a remnant of the ancient chain of Sauratown Mountains. The Saura Native Americans, the region's earliest known inhabitants, called the mountain "Jomeokee," meaning "great guide."
The picture was taken with an HTC Thunderbolt cell phone.
Have a great week everyone!
