Tyumen is rich in all kinds of monuments and art objects. There are unusual modern in the city, but there are old ones, since the time of the union. One of the art objects of the times of the Soviet Union is a panel on the Railway station square.
The picture is made in the sgraffito technique
sgraffito technique - is a technique either of wall decor, produced by applying layers of plaster tinted in contrasting colours to a moistened surface, or in pottery, by applying to an unfired ceramic body two successive layers of contrasting slip or glaze, and then in either case scratching so as to reveal parts of the underlying layer.[1] The Italian past participle "sgraffiato" is also used, especially of pottery.
Much to my regret for the panel is not being watched, the upper part has already begun to crumble.
Weird to see these parts of history still up. But it's still super fascinating and I actually really enjoy the layering they use. The technique really is mesmerizing. Love learning a little with great posts like this, thank you!

we still have many artifacts of a bygone era. They are built qualitatively - with proper care they would have stood still for a long time.
But unfortunately, now do not do such things. All that can be found on the streets of cities - built in the Union.
Thank you for stopping by.))
