Elephants are very important for Keralites. They are domestic animals & using for the domestic purposes.
In Kerala, you can see elephants in each & every temples. They are using them during festivals as shown in the pictures.
Elephants have a very friendly atmosphere there & they are very comfortable with.
People in Kerala love Elephants than any other animals. People treat them as god, because the majority are Hindus & they have a lord named Ganesh. He has an Elephant face & people believe that Elephants are the advent of Lord Ganesh.
Even Christians are also using the Elephants for their religious purpose.
In Kerala, you can see Elephants on roads accompanying by the caretakers.

For me, Elephans are the most beautiful animal that exist. I don't know why, but when i see them i fell so peacefuly. I just want to have the oportunity to be around this animal that has so much meaning for Indian people. Please just take care of this amazing creature.

They roam on roads only with their caretakers & No need to scare...They are very friendly... Sometimes they become violent & that time the public will scare. That is an exceptional case...
