Here are 10 favorites from June. I hope You enjoy

In to deep

Seawater pours into the gaping maw of Thor’s Well in this photo submitted by Gary Fua. Located in Oregon near Cape Perpetua, the dangerous but beautiful hole, also known as Spouting Horn, is estimated to be about 20 feet deep

Streets of Gold

A man’s shirt matches the golden hue of the buildings in the town of Izamal, Mexico. Situated in Yucatán, Izamal, once a Maya city, boasts an immediately noticeable characteristic: The town’s structures are all painted sunny yellow

Hangin' Around

“After the rain, it sometimes rains again, and when it does, what else is one to do except just hang?” asks Your Shot member Douglas Gimesy. He submitted this image of a fruit bat resting in a tree during a rain shower in Melbourne, Australia, its wings wrapped around its body for warmth. Fruit bats, as their name suggests, eat fruit and play an important environmental role in seed dispersal and pollination.

 Halo Effect

Bioluminescent phytoplankton surround swimmers in circles of brilliant blue light. Your Shot member Will Strathmann captured this image while in Krabi, Thailand. “[I] heard that the bioluminescence [was] beginning to peak under the new moon … While this photo doesn’t come close to the actual experience, I am proud I was able to capture and share this magical moment.”

Horse of Another Color

Using an underwater snoot, Your Shot community member Davide Lopresti made this bright photo of a sea horse. These delicate creatures live in shallow tropical and temperate waters around the world, and they use their elongated snouts to suck in their dinner: the plankton and tiny crustaceans that drift by them.

Morning Harvest

A woman harvests water lilies in the fertile Mekong Delta in Vietnam. “This is a one-kilometer [0.6 mile] pond,” Nhan Le, who submitted the photo, writes. “Every morning the owner collects those flowers and sells to a reseller for 10,000 Vietnamese dong [45 cents U.S.] a pack.”

A Maze of Grass

A herd of elephants makes its way through Botswana’s Okavango Delta. “These animals move through the shallow waters of the delta easily, leaving behind water channels which, seen from the air, form a large mosaic of green mazes,” writes photographer Gaston Piccinetti, who submitted this image to Your Shot.

A Perfect View

The sun’s rays set flame to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park’s most recognizable land features: the Mittens, the towering buttes that jut from the park’s desert floor. Though the iconic landscape has come to symbolize the American West immortalized in such classic movies as Stagecoach (1939) and Easy Rider(1969), Monument Valley is the ancestral home of the Navajo people, who still live in the area today.

Dip Into the Blue

One of Iceland’s most visited attractions, the man-made Blue Lagoon in Reykjavík remains at a constant temperature between 98 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit (37 to 40 degrees Celsius). The lagoon’s water is said to improve some skin conditions, such as psoriasis.

Painted Passing

A train zips down the coastline in the beach city Del Mar, north of San Diego, California. The limited light and the wispy clouds gave it a great painterly feel
