Last week I found myself in Monroe, Louisiana and stumbled upon a great little restaurant. Cotton was a great place to have a couple of creative cocktails and experience a unique take on southern food. I really enjoyed the vibe here. The bartender was friendly and took pride in the drinks he made. My dinner was amazing, and can't wait to stop in next time I'm in town.

Dinner was Cochon Du Lait (slow cooked pork, creamed black eyed peas, braised collard greens and pepper relish). My mouth is watering right now just thinking back on it.
