Most of us never get to see this pretty little flower unless we grow our own herbs in our garden or in a flowerpot. This is the flower of a herb called Chives which I grow and they regularly surprise us with these beautiful little pink flowers.

Chives is one of my favorite herbs. I like using it sun dried or fresh in my sauces even with eggs. I never knew it had such a beautiful flower! Thanks for sharing @claudiaz

I have never seen a chives plant. There are however one of my best and favourite go to herbs in the kitchen. They have very beautiful flowers. Question I am creating a small herbs garden, what do you plant for chives, seeds or part of the plant?

@mutitum, You can plant seeds, but I usually just buy a very small plant at the shop and then later you can split them and make more! very easy to grow.
