Monkey Head Nebula (also known as NGC 2174) is an emission nebula located in the constellation Orion and is associated with the open star cluster NGC 2175. It is thought to be located about 6,400 light-years away from Earth. The nebula may have formed through hierarchical collapse. (dixit Wikipedia)

To take this photo i used the following setup:
Scope: Skywatcher Black diamond 200/1000
Mount: AZEQ6
Camera: Atik One 6.0

The total exposure is around 3hours over 1 night in december 2016. As my camera is black & white i use Hubble color palette by stacking and mapping to RGB a combination of:

4 photos of 20 min flitering around Ha ray of Hydrogen
3 photos of 20 min flitering around OIII ray of Oxygen
3 photos of 20 min flitering around SII ray of Sulfur

I used the software Prism 10 to manage the capture, the pre-treatment (Removing offset, dark and flat). The stacking and the post-treatment was done with Pixinsight and at the end Photoshop.
