A Beautiful Specimen of a Moth

Edit 6-25-17: It's a rosy maple moth. I stumbled on this post on reddit. I should have posted there for mad karma. Nah, you guys are better.

Does anybody know what kind of moth this is?

I've only seen a colorful moth like this once in my life so far. It's gorgeous! I couldn't stop taking pictures. Luckily, it stayed there for quite a bit of time.

Interesting moth coloration.

Right? I've never seen anything quite like it.

What a furry moth did you managed to take photo, nature never stops to amaze me.

This was at my workplace. It was quite the spectacle. I think I was the most excited, though. Nature is always surprising.
