Now that Spring is in full swing, there's quite allot of variety to photograph out in the NJ parks.

Here are some additional captures from a short walk at Thompson Park this past Wednesday.

Yesterday's @steemit post which also contains captures from this short hike:

Follow me @cognoscere

The mayapple fruit is coming along nicely! Here are some of my previous @steemit post from this Spring featuring mayapples:

Dandelion seeds, soon to be gone with the wind.

Tent caterpillar remnants.

Young sumac leaves.

A caterpillar that recently escaped from its tent.

A little too much rain lately in Central New Jersey.

More young sumac leaves.

A fallen tulip tree flower which, you'll never guess, kind of resembles a tulip. The wind and rain knocks them down and the squirrels seem to also like them.

Milkweed #1.

Some kind of meadow grass.

Milkweed #2 serving as home to a spider.

Milkweed #3.

All images @cognoscere and taken on Wednesday 05/24/2017 at the Thompson Park Longbridge Annex in Lincroft, New Jersey (Sony RX100 V)

Thanks @riostarr!

ok, those tent caterpillars are gross.
sorry

Very nice assortment. Lot's of beautiful captures. The tent caterpillars look a bit like they're from a horror movie. And all that green. Thanks for sharing
