Catching Hogs

in photography •  7 years ago

Wild hogs are becoming more of a problem in certain cities throughout Central Florida. When it really gets bad, a land owner out here will actively look for people to either come hunt the hogs, or pay them to catch them in a trap.

This is a hog trap that I helped set up:

We caught 3 small wild hogs in the trap in 1 go round, but there are many more larger ones on the property that need to be caught and released somewhere else as well.

What is wrong with this world? Free-range bacon is a problem? C'mon people! Use your heads!

Interesting! I didn't realize wild hogs were a problem in Florida - I'm from SW Missouri, and while they're not as much of an issue here, I know they're a HUGE problem in Arkansas. Where do you relocate them after trapping? Just curious! 😊

Seemed you did kinda cool job !
