Today was my 32nd birthday and to celebrate we hiked at Buttonrock Preserve, one of my favorite hiking spots along the front range. The trail allows you to have your dog off-leash, which is a rarity around here. I found this lone wild sunflower and couldn't resist the shot. It was a scorcher today, touching almost 100 degrees in the Denver area, but it was worth the trek.
