Spot of the day - St Peter's Pool, Malta - Stunning natural pool surrounding by cliffs in the Mediterranean.steemCreated with Sketch.

St Peter's Pool in Malta is an awesome place and just a short hike away from the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. You can find some shade from the scorching sun here at any time of the day. A good idea would be to go there on Sunday when there is a fish market in Marsaxlokk (ever since medieval times), buy some fresh fish and beer so you can do a fish barbecue. Leave no trace behind!

Cool photos :D @creutzy

Cheers! :)

That is beautiful, the water looks so clear :)

It is a great little place. Not that well known so most of the times you kinda have it for yourself. Mostly just the occasional locals come to take a dip. They carved the rocks around there and made fire pits and stairs to go in and out. It is great to jump in, has 4.5-6m tall at most I think. You have places with shade at any time during the day which is important considering it gets super hot. Plus there is a little cave down by the water where you can cool off with the splash of the waves.

Looks amazing, I am glad it doesn't get over run with people, its too beautiful to spoil

Yeah, it stays off the radar for the most part. Plus it is a 30 minute hike from a kinda remote village so... location, location.

That's quite a hike but worth it, I wouldn't want to leave :)

Especially after a meal and more than several drinks...

Pitch up a tent and stay there lol

Might be tricky with the rocky terrain. Plus you don't need it, it doesn't rain that often (had several months without any) and it is OK to sleep with just a sleeping bag and a mat. Maybe a face mash if you don't like crawlies...

Looks gorgeous!

Thanks! It is one of my personal favorite places.
