okay, so im new to steemit and now have to blow some "steem" off: I don't understand how this works. How can a blogpost like this reach a value of 415$? It mainly consists of a poorly filmed tv screen, and photos of a gorgeous luxury home, the OP didn't take because of "not the most modern interior". What is this? Kim Kardashian on Jersey shore? Why is this recieving so much attention. In the two days I've been on steemit ive encountered at least a dozen 0.01$ posts with more substance and value than this.
Don't take this personal @sirwinchester, I just want to know how it works, that this "flat content" is valued so much, and better posts go by unnoticed, while steemit promotes it self as "everybody get's what they deserve"

btw, I saw this an hour ago in the new section when it was brand new and didn't have any votes or so. And I decided it wan't worth my vote. Never thought it would come out this big.
