Nainital is also called as Himalayan Resort which is situated in Kumaon region of Uttarakhand State, India. It is set around Nainital lake which is popular boating site besides Naina Devi Hindu Temple which is on north shore. For observing snow view over the mountains the cable cars are available for the visitors.
Nainital is very popular hill station.Nainital.is set in the valley which contain pear shaped lake and it is surrounded by mountains.
Mythology
Myth tells us that the Nainital is one of the 64 Shaktipeeths which means religious site. The place where Sati’s(Parvati)eye fell this spot is call as Naini tal or lake of the eye. Godess Shakti worshiped at Naini Mata Temple.
