Looking over the water tonight is a pretty abysmal pinky orange dot with a rather odd fluctuation. It’s the smoke passing in front of the sun, no that is not the moon! Crazy the amount of smoke that has blown back over our sky’s with the shifting winds. At least the lake was nice and calm and the smoke seems to be passing far over head rather then settling like last week.
Lazy feeling tonight, haven’t done a vlog in a few days but I’m kinda stuck on one train of thought I just don’t want to rant about. I will be posting hopefully in the morning with a fresh mind I can usually pull off a solid one take wonder.
I wonder if the air quality has anything to do with feeling less motivated then usual? Body deciding its bed time early? Psychological effect? I wonder if this is what the end of the world would feel like?
Odd thoughts from a tired mind, if you ever need some wtf talk catch me when I’m over tired!
Here is a shot looking towards my hood, you can see how the smoke is settling on the mountains but not quite down to the lake. I live just behind the apartment building dead centre, where the smoke is settling 🤦♂️. Still rocking that AC unit but not really needing it as the heat has come down, I just do not want to flood the house with smoke.
Everything gets a funky smell, car was smelling like a campfire because I left the windows down all night. The dew in the morning pulls some of the smoke out of the air only to set the smell into the interior of the vehicle. Same with our clothes, I have noticed after showering I can smell the smoke on my dirty clothes.

Yea this smoke is making for some interesting photography that’s for sure.... I don’t remember it getting this bad in previous years or maybe the smoke has always just missed us by. Have you seen any of the crazy videos from the interior? 2pm looked like night in the one video I watched!
