Near Dulles airport in Chantilly, Virginia is the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy Center for the National Air and Space Museum. It is two large hangers full of historic airplanes, helicopters, and space vehicles. The museum's benefactor, Steven Udvar-Hazy was a wealthy Hungarian immigrant to the U.S. who made his fortune in aircraft leasing. He gave $65 million dollars to build the 760,000 square feet museum to house the Smithsonian's collection that had outgrown the downtown D.C. location. Here are a couple of planes on exhibit that are fitting for the Wednesday Yellow Color Challenge.
