A Million Lights - Longexposurephotography

in photography •  7 years ago

A city is defined by all its lights, it represents the energy and life of the city, I therefore find it quite mesmerizing to stand on my balcony in the evening and see the this view. It seems that even though i have seen this view a thousand times I won't mind seeing it a thousand times more.

wow - that's a great view to wake up to and see before going to bed!

It really is spectacular. It's hard to put a price on something like that, but if I become a Steem millionaire in the future I wouldn't mind getting a place like that

hope you do get one soon ;)

I think I must be the only person living in a city like London who does not like these tall buildings disturbing the great skyline. I think if major cities keep building these tall exclusive buildings blocking out the skyline view from the ground level you will be like walking around a big spiders web of a maze. I think it will take a long while yet before they destroy the city skyline of London. If they do I shall be off to find myself a big tree of life. Then build myself a treehouse so I can live like Tarzan and Jane haha!

Haha you made me think of this show on discovery where they built tree houses. Not your ordinary shed though but really sophisticated- I would love to have a place like that- much more than having an apartment in the city

I think it would fantastic living your life in a treehouse. I was looking into the refurbished homes built from ship containers over a year ago as they go pretty cheap around $20,000. But in the UK they created a law to say they do not recognise these ship containers refurbished homes in their eyes. They only see it if a person lived in one for short-term no like long-term. If you had a truck with a trailer you could take these ship container homes anywhere with you. When I looked on one website it said if you bought from them the ship container it would require a police escort on public roads for the delivery.

Have you ever imagined a world without light? Wow, now i can imagine what it must have felt for even the almighty to have called for the appearance of light. @dandesign86, thanks for reminding us of the power of light and its importance to the wolrd. Thumbs up!

Wow amazing view @dandesign86. Anyway I hope you have a good pair of blinds!

Hahah good point ☝️ Ti be honest our blinds could be thicker hehe

City lights are my second favorite thing on the planet, thanks for this one!

Thanks buddy ! I appreciate it :)

I have to admit, long exposure photography is purely delightful. I envy anyone who can do it well. This is a view that is breathtaking. Absolutely. I love the way you captured it.

Upped and Steemed Tip! -worthy!

Thanks a lot! It is really a lot of fun to do long exposure photography as you don't know the end result till the shutter finally closes :)
