Long exposure photography is always fun because you don't know the end result till the shutter closes. Since most cameras are now digital, I think it's fun to add that surprise moment - and with long exposure you get that. This is a photo i took from the hotel window I was staying at last weekend in Shanghai.
I was very happy to get this view, but then I also asked for it. When checking in to hotels I always spend some energy to be extra friendly and to check if there are any possible upgrades or good view rooms. It often works ! Empty rooms are empty rooms, and thus if you ask nicely you can be upgraded to a better option.
