Little one fell out of the nest in the tree above.

Thankfully it had very watchful parents. You can only see one in this picture, as the other was a little higher up.

A few hours later I saw these two in the tree above. Looks like everything turned out fine.

So the juvenile got back up? I'm really grateful for this post: I have a bunch of doves that eat at my feeder but I've never seen their youngsters. Other birds will bring their kids around, but not the doves. But I guess that makes sense, they're so skittish!

After getting a few shots of the baby, the onlooking parent kept looking from me to it's young one. I did not want to get it too worked up so I went back inside. Upon return I could not find it, just the two snuggling together. I'm so very glad you liked my post. Take care.
