Eyes; Photo Subject of the Day #11/111

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

The images I took very close up to my girlfriends eye comprise my "Photo Subject of the Day" series, day number eleven.

All posts in this project/series use images shot the day they are posted.

The idea is to keep at it and stay light and allow the subject and conditions to be very simple and easy to find. The world is filled with interesting subjects that often go overlooked and their beauty is not fully appreciated. In all I intent to complete 111 total "Photo Subjects of the Day" posts.  As an amateur photographer and artist I really want to push myself to learn more and grow.

This is a daily experience as all work is completed from start to finish on the day the subject is posted. The ultimate goal is not to make one post per day, it is to see something interesting everyday in a new way. I will make it to 111 posts day by day and along the way I hope to see many things every moment with more intense interest.

Today is post number 11 of 111.

Today I noticed the reflection of a tree in my girlfriends eyes. She loves trees and I tried to get as clean a shot of the reflection as possible with conditions. It was not easy. The sun was setting and the dim light coupled with the small area of focus made it tough. The critical focus isn't there but I still think they are interesting.

*All images shot today with a Panasonic GX85 Micro four thirds camera*

Wow, nice shots. Really nice camera lens to get that kind of detail. Focus is on the reflection inside the eye, cool stuff. I've always liked photography but never took the next step to get a real deal camera. Maybe I will have to do that one day.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, enjoy the day, cheers.

Yah, a real camera is extra fun. I have to admit that some cell phones can also take excellent photographs. Take 'em with whatever you have. Have an amazing day.
