The texture of beautiful plants and flowers; Photography

in photography •  8 years ago  (edited)

I always love the shapes and textures of flowers and plants, here are a few images I decided to share today.

These are very recent images. Seven of these were shot over the weekend, in between taking shots for the steemit photo challenge. The other two were taken 1 week ago in Denver.

I did not chose these plants because they were perfect. I chose them because they were simple. I hope my images are uncomplicated and let the forms of each of the plants speak quietly.

These photos are great, they really capture the "aliveness" of the plants. It's awesome to see shots like this, where it feels like the flower is a growing and vivid object rather than something flat.

Thanks so much! I agree they look alive and I do love plants!

Neighbors always had a beautiful garden of flowers and vegetables on the side of house. Flowers always make me smile. Thank you

you are welcome!

I love these flowers and plants, this is amazing photography. I'm planing to buy a camera to learn photography.

I love the colors in the second one and the focus/composition in the third.

These are stunning. Three, Five and Eight are my faves, but they are all really really cool.

These are gorgeous! One, Five, Six, and Eight are really especially beautiful to me. Love the vintage feel on One and Six.
