Carnival in Venice is undoubtedly one of the most popular carnivals in the world. Beautiful costumes and typical Venetian masks change the city magically. This spectacle attracts millions of tourists from around the world every year. Both Italians and visitors change into sophisticated costumes, wear masks to play together in the streets and squares of the city. During the carnival, in addition to the parade of colorful costumes from past eras, you can take part in concerts and theater performances, workshops and private balls, prices of several hundred euros. The carnival in Venice is now slightly commercial and probably does not resemble those of previous eras, but it's worth seeing it with your own eyes.
