Today, I took my family to an amazing museum in the city of Derby.
It's full of artifacts relating to 'making' for various industries.
Derby Silk Mill built in 1791
We started the day here at
THE STANDING order which is now a pub in The Wetherspoons chain. It used to be the main bank in the city back in the 1700s and is a beautiful grand building with very high ceilings decorated in Georgian architecture
Myself and children really enjoyed our Full English Breakfast with free drink refills!
An old Jones Motorcycle built in the 60s
Toyota Corolla disassembled showing how it is manufactured
Taxidermy Fox from the 1850s
Taking some time outside to appreciate your local nature is very therapeutic
Banksy style art display outside in the street
An antique leather bound chair made circa 1780
Stay tunes for more adventures coming soon.
