Eefa - A7R III 120fps Slow Motion Test

in photography •  7 years ago

On my recent shoot with Irish model Eefa we took a few mins at the end to shoot some simple natural light video footage. I mostly wanted to see how good the video autofocus worked, especially at 120 frames per second hand held.

I was delighted with the results. The in built stabilization and 120fps makes hand holding this camera no problem at all. I'll probably still pick up a gimbal stabilizer but I certainly wouldnt be worried about shooting handheld with this camera.

The lens was a Sony 24-70 f2.8 G Master which worked a treat too.

The music on this video is a quick little piece I wrote for the video. Its just a quick little mess around but turned out nice.

Very impressive and awesome video btw. I am also positively surprised by the excellent stabilization and autofocus of the camera.

Yep definitely a nice surprise alright. Handheld video with these kind of cameras are always a bit shaky but this was a very pleasant change.
