Guess who I met today?
Frances Bean Cobain, Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's daughter.
A new Kurt Cobain exhibition launched today in a meseum near me (Newbridge Style Icon Museum). Kurts daugher, mother and sister all flew over for the launch so I got to meet them earlier. They were all so nice and were more than happy to stay around and chat to everyone there, pose for photos and just generally be lovely people 😀
This was quite a big deal for me as I've been a huge Nirvana fan since I was a kid. I've met quite a lot of celebrities over the years but anyone relating to the Nirvana and Kurt Cobain story is anothger level for me, so it was a pretty surreal .
The exhibition had some stuff on display too like Kurt's iconic t-shirt he wore in the Smells Like Teen Spirit video.
Also on display was Kurt's 1965 Dodge Dart.
Above is another iconic shirt that Kurt wore, his "Grunge is Dead" shirt.
Hope this was of interest to a few out there. It was certainly an experience I'll remember for a long time!!
