Around the Canadian Rockies in B&W and Colour

This is Two Jack Lake and the Beautiful Mount Rundle in the background. Situated just minutes from the town of Banff, Alberta, Canada. It’s a nice and relaxing place to go for a picnic, and get away from the hustle and bustle of Banff ave, during the peak season. A Sony A77 and DT 16-105 lens was used.

            We were there a few years ago ourselves, and it is a gorgeous location. There are some unbelievably blue waters around that area. I always thought they were colorized on postcards as a child, but obviously they are really that blue.

                Is it just me? Or does anyone else find black and white pictures of still-life/inanimate things more pleasing to the eyes than colour photographs?
