Around the Canadian Rockies in B&W and Colour

in photography •  7 years ago

In the first photo and on the left, Ha Ling Peak can be seen. On the right, the eastern section of mount Rundle. The photo was taken in Canmore, Alberta. In the second photo is a picture of my son skipping rocks on the Bow River, near the Banff Springs hotel in the town of Banff. A Sony NEX 7 and Sony A77 were used. Which do you prefer, B&W or Colour?

Wow...Great Shots...The Mountains in the Color look Absolutely beautiful. I love to skip the rocks on water as an adult too.

Yeah, me too!
Thanks for looking

Nice picture. B&W is very beautiful

wow! very nice photography.

Gorgeous shots @daveks. You did a great job capturing the both the grandeur of the Rockies and the simplicity of childhood. I think I prefer the color shot for the mountains and the B&W shot for the boy.

On a side note, man, I really gotta travel to Canada...

You would love it over here!
Where are you from?

not bad :) I like B&W version more .

I would tend to agree with you!
