Finally, some pictures of the gorgeous Moraine Lake, located inside Banff National Park, and very close to Lake Louise. This is one of my favourite Lakes in all the Parks. It's beautiful blue-green colour is a result of the sun's reflection off the glacial rock flour suspended in the ice cold water.

Have you been to Moraine Lake?

WOW the color of that water is AMAZING. Is Banff on the border? Because I could swear there is also a Banff national park in the US. It would make sense if it was one big cross-border park.

You might be thinking of Waterton Lakes national park which borders Glacier national park in Montana!

I love the view, it shows the reflection of the beauty of nature, nice pictures

Thanks @collinz!

Wow, those are pretty awesome, great captures!!!

Thank you!

Only once when I was up at Banff. I must have been too young or had my head in the clouds. I cannot believe how beautiful it is - I am sure I didn't fully appreciate it. To be 18 and in love, nothing else matters, I would guess. It is worth a revisit for sure.

I am looking at the rocks, huge masses of them randomly placed by the shifting of the water and the land. What a sense of amazing you must feel as you look back at these shots.

Thank you for sharing the beauty once again.

Yes I am in awe of this place, I have been here many times and have yet to tire of it!
Thanks for your comments

You definitly have to visit here someday @tattoodjay!

You won't regret it!

Of that I have no doubt

Lake Moraine is very nice. I took some photos some years ago, from the same spots than the ones that you show here.
