Around the Canadian Rockies in B&W and Colour

in photography •  7 years ago

These photos were taken in Grotto Canyon, located about 10 minutes east of Canmore, Alberta, and just outside Banff National Park. This is a great easy hike. You will find interesting rock formations, and even indigenous “rock art.” Also, in Winter, after the creek freezes over, put on a pair of ice cleats and experience an icy adventure!

~ a Sony A77 and DT 16-105mm lens was used. ~

Nature is always beautiful. I totally love this view.
A quick one, i noticed you said this was taken in Grotto. Is this from the same popular "Chicken Grotto" i grew up knowing?

No, that would be something different. Thanks for looking
