Established in 1885, Banff National Park is Canada's oldest and first National Park. Canada celebrates its 150th birthday this year so there is no entry fee, if you get a chance, Go There!

All of these photos were previously posted. I am reposting those photos in this "Best of Banff" series for the New users that haven't seen them yet, and quite frankly some of those posts just "Slipped through the Cracks" without being seen by many anyways!

My first trip to Canada was in the Saskatoon area - not quite as scenic. Always good have a reminder I need to go back and explore. Great photos!

That's where I live now..wish I still lived in the Rockies @cr1ms0n8a11z and thanks!!

I always love those shots that site a town or set of buildings with a big mountainous backdrop. Great pics!

Thanks @meesterboom, I'm going to be reposting a lot of Rocky Mountain photos over the next few weeks, as a lot were overlooked last year when I posted them.

Look forward to seeing them dude!

Nice post!

Thanks @creutzy!

You're welcome! Btw, are those Ibex (if that's what they are) goats shy? The ones we have in Romania you can't get close to much unless it is accidental.

These are Big Horn sheep as far as I know @creutzy!

Oh, OK, thanks for clearing that up.

That area looks beautiful. Some of the best memories I have are staring at snow peaks and lakes to go fish in.

Yes I know what you mean @natevegas and thanks for commenting!

Jasper is gorgeous too. Never been to Banff but it looks gorgeous as well :-)

Yes Jasper is gorgeous too, I'll post some from there later @whitey420 and thanks!

Thanks as always @lakshmi!

I liked so much the 5th and the 6th one because of its architecture. Good pics. Today I upload a photo serie of landscapes and nature in sepia, I invite you to look at it , maybe you'd liked it! https://steemit.com/photography/@fakj94/sonido-del-silencio
