Best of Banff

The first few photos are of the spectacular Lake Agnes area, located approximately 3.5km (2.2mi) hiking distance from Lake Louise. After making your way there, due stop in at the famous Tea Hut for some treats and kick back!

This one of the best hikes in Banff, the only drawback is that the trail can get congested at times.

Most of these photos were previously posted. I am reposting those photos in this "Best of Banff" series for the New users that haven't seen them yet. Some of those posts just "Slipped through the Cracks" without being seen by many anyways!

Nice that you managed to capture those photos of the scenery without people in them. Judging by the number of people at the hut and what you said about congestion on the trail, that must have taken some doing!

A little patience and perseverance!

I bet that water is not cold at all. LOL

Not in the least!

Great shots! We will have to go on that hike if we ever go back to the Lake Louise area. Thanks for sharing.

It's a good one and
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! I'm planning to visit that area sometime during the summer and I got just new ideas from your post.

Glad to hear that, have fun!

The first one is pretty. The water looks so blue and clear. Why isn't there anyone on the lake? Must be too cold. The image with the steps going down, nice creative shot. Cheers!

They may not allow canoes up there for some reason, park bylaw maybe!
Thanks Rudy

Beautiful work @daveks. Lake Agnes is always a great place for some good shots, but I was particularly impressed with the glacier shot. The composition and depth of the shot really creates a dynamic piece. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
