A Grand Old Chinese Building in Hangzhou

in photography •  7 years ago

I felt that everywhere you went, there was some view of this structure. As we walked around I kept seeing it and had to get a closer look.

It took a while but we finally got to it, and man did it stick out of the open area that surrounded it. I had to back up as far as I could, back against another building, my 35mm lens could just get this shot. I would have loved to have gotten another few feet back to give the image more space, but there were no moving ancient structures.

I got so many different angles of this structure, and it was one of the first ones I took that worked the best.
