In the old towns of Yangzhou, the streets were interesting. More like alleyways. They were long and had a sense of mystery to them. Do I walk down that path? Well, 800 years ago safety walking down the streets were most likely not an issue.

This was a panel from one of the doors to a residence. All residents had some sort of wood carving design. An 800-year-old​ wood carving.
