Nice camouflage. Are their eyes functional? Or are they vestigial? Seems kinda useless under all the debris they hang out under.

    Yep, their eyes are functional. They hang out under debris and leaf litter, but they also have to hunt and forage. They also have to migrate to bodies of water during breeding season.
