The Church of Kanoni or by its full name is the church of Panagia Vlacherna is a small church on Kanoni island next to Corfu Town in Greece. It is one of the most famous and most photographed spots on Corfu.
Kanoni is actually a quart in the town named by an old cannon that stands at the top of the hill above it. The church was constructed in the 17th century and it is one of the places you must visit. Inside you can see impressive wooden-carved iconostasis and beautiful frescoes.
