It does say nudity.. but there is a difference between nudity and gratuitous nudity for the purpose of arousal. You cant write a Photo essay on any of these shots - the lighting, texture, contrast, horizontal and vertical lines, shape, etc... I can point you to a few spread eagle pics if you care to compare. People obviously love these pictures - lets see how much they love them when they take up more than 1 spot on the list of trending posts. Slippery slope..

Upvoted. As photographer/Photographic artist that does shoot erotic art and nudes. I read the discussion above as to weather is this Art or Porn.
What is ART is subjective even without nudity. And then you take that to a new level with explicit nudity as to what is porn.
The NSFW I have posted so far leans to the Art side more but I shoot this style as well sometimes.
I would say this is either Explicit Erotic Art or Artistic Porn. Either way, nice work by all involved, I like the really white Black & White.

Personally I think that there is just about enough pornography elsewhere on the internet and I do not find it necessary to have it on Steemit too. I am pro freedom, as an anarchist, but I am also pro freely enforced limitations if the general opinion goes towards a platform free of porn. My philosophy is that art has two sides. The creator is "doing" something to express themselves in some way (my best description on the spot), while the observer trues to put himself in this artists place by "enjoying" his art. Whether or not that succeeds, is the degree to which the observer sees it as art (from his point of view). So basically are is subjective and not really a topic for philosophical discussion whether something is art or not

A few years ago I had been going through boxes of old things and found an album full of negatives. Upon further inspection I realized there were a few pages of my mother (in her early 20s before kids) in the nude. They were actually quite beautiful...even though the subject was my mother. I think the story is something else. By calling pornographic images art, the girl in the photo is put on a more acceptable category than if it is labeled pornography (though the acceptance of pornography is rising). It's just a word that we blanket over an infinite subset of pictures and actions and sounds and....., which, yes, have similarities, but, in many cases, also have qualities that are, in every way, opposite from the other "content" that we unconsciously lump it in with by choosing to use such a broad term of categorizing.
Each instance of human action/ interaction is 100% unique, although it may share some similarities with past instances. My feeling is if we can be 100% present to what we have in front of us (in other words, not categorizing/ labeling), then we can see what's ACTUALLY represented by the action(s). IMO, it's only in that clear state of mind that we can accurately perceive intentions and motivations (both in ourselves and in others) and it's only in this state of mind that we can perceive pure beauty (not perverted by "unholy" thoughts, or lines of thinking).
The memory of a sunset doesn't have the same impact as the experience of being present to one, in the moment. Likewise, being with preconceived judgments about what a thing is or isn't (whether it's "right" or "wrong", for instance), whilst having that thing in one's presence, doesn't have the same quality to it as being 100% in that thing's presence.

About the art or not I would say subjectivity is on the eye of the beholder, the images are though a bit pornographic without intercourse though, but since we have seen real intercourse taking place in the mainstream industry like Marlon Brandon's film Last Tango in Paris and not just that. I say it is acceptable we can't tag nudity as non-art because people might get offended by it. Art does serve a lot of purposes, some times offending can be a side product of the procedure. I've stared at a dew drop before for what felt like an eternity and in that seemingly eternal, "blissed out" moment, I was convinced that the secret of beauty was revealed to me: seeing a thing without mental conceptions.
As @denvermax said in her previous comment, "it is what your mind makes it." With an innocent mind, or a mind "turned-off", I'm more than certain that we can see all the beauty of intricacies that you speak of (symmetry, shape, line, texture, color) and, more importantly, be filled with the sense of beauty, here, in these pictures.
Of course, it's also natural for a heterosexual male who's predisposed to be attracted to a certain "type" or "form" of female to be aroused by such photos, even if their mind is "cleared", but that's natural and beautiful too. It all comes down to perspective and, unfortunately, 99 out 0f 100 people are living in a seriously mutated reality that mixes ideals with truth...I'll add "in my opinion", here, as I don't have actual proof that my numbers are anywhere near accurate.
I think most of what you say about art/ beauty has to do with ideals, many of which may not even be your own. Perhaps they were conditioned out of your education and upbringing.

Beyond the somewhat detailed response to kiddarko below, i wanted to reply to the tag-order thing.
im not a developer or anything, so i don't know why tags work the way they do, but i think its pretty common knowledge about NSFW appearing in the first tag in order for the system to filter it.
I also don't think its necessarily bad that the NSFW tag as the first tag hides posts from feeds, but as a later tag does not.
At least to my way of thinking, if the NSFW aspect is the primary aspect of the post, the tag should be first and it ought to be hidden from the feeds. If the post is about something else, and there is a small aspect that is NSFW (an example might be some of sean kings old posts), then i think the tag as a warning is sufficient without hiding it from feeds.
WHere to draw that line is problematic, and subjective to a certain extent. To me, this seems to be primarily porn and the photography aspect is secondary. But i am not an expert on either subject.

The "rules" depend on who you ask (or at least the answer you get about the rules depends on who you ask). Some people (like @berniesanders says in the comment above) say there are no rules. Its a free and open blockchain. Personally, i find that model more appealing, though most here do not acknowledge it. If thats the case, then I cast my downvote on the free and open blockchain, as i'm free to do, because i think porn appearing in public feeds is harmful to the platform, and that the value added to the system by the content does not justify its payout . Now yes, this is an entirely subjective opinion.But it happens to be mine and im expressing it with my vote the same way you were with yours when you upvoted the post.
This justification for a downvote might be familiar to @berniesanders, as it is pretty similar to the one he used when he created a great deal of controversy by downvoting a bad and overvalued post by TDV (a downvote btw that i applauded in various comments).
There is another school of thought that says there is a set of rules about what content is appropriate based on the steemit weltanschauung if you will, a set of shared ideas about what material is appropriate in what places and what is not and that only material which violates this set of informal guidelines should be downvoted.
My views tend toward the first model, where a blockchain is a blockchain and a vote is a vote, though in reality the true answer is somewhere inbetween. I posted my justification based on the second model because, for me personally, a post like this is a flag either way, and Ive noticed that very few people actually take the view that bernie does below. Most people think there are a set of rules about what you can downvote and what you can't. I personally think that this post is a flag even going by those rules.
