It occurred to me today while I was looking through my photos trying to find a red image, that most of the colourful images I take in my day to day life are all of flowers, insects (butterflies and bees!) or animals. It is rare that I have colourful photos of other subjects, and due to that I aspire to post a wide range of subjects in the future... Flowers are great, but I want to try and diversify and give myself an extra challenge!

Here is my photo for Monday, a parrot that I came across in an aviary in New Zealand. I love birds, and many of them are truly stunning creatures.

I feel like these birds don't know the meaning of camouflage... (spelt it first try! Yeah! :D).
