As the face of the earth rapidly approached, I couldn't help but drop off of it...

So here I am, after yet another sabbatical away from the Steemits, back again, as always.

Did you think I disappeared for good this time? Naw, not me, I'm always back again.

To be honest the past three weeks have been insanely busy and tiring for us.

We flew from Barcelona to Los Angeles, stayed the night, then flew to Cabo San Lucas. Spent one day recovering then spent half a day adventuring around and doing a shoot with some fellow photographers (Photos from that soon). Stopped for another day then went and did a full day adventure wedding shoot, in the blazing Cabo sun (Photos and perhaps a video from that soon). Relaxed the next day, and the day after that flew to Portland. Picked up a rental car, drove two hours to Manzanita, crashed in our rental place and then woke up the next day to start preparing for the workshop we were speaking at. Spent the evening talking to students and then slept, then woke up and spent that day helping to organize, speak with students, and went and got soaked in the freezing ocean on a few group photo shoots. Prepared and gave our part that evening and then went to sleep. Next day we led our own group photo shoot for a few hours, got soaked in the rain and freezing ocean again, then came back and talked with students all evening. Next day got up early and drove to Portland, met a friend for quick lunch, booked it to the airport and flew to Los Angeles again. Spent a day hanging out, then next day met up with some more photographers and did a shoot at Santa Monica Pier (Photos and maybe a video of that soon too!) Spent the next day trying to relax, hang out, and explore a little bit, then headed to the airport and flew home to Barcelona.

I'm sure there is more in there that I missed, but I really can't even keep track of it all at this point, it was really just a non stop burn day after day. We are still exhausted, and since we have been home we have had to do some emergency dentist visits, starting to sort out health insurance here in Spain, got our updated marriage certificate so immigration stuff is coming up in a few days, and we have been trying to spend some time with our good friends who will be leaving back to Canada the day after tomorrow.

Things will calm down next week (I hope) but for now we are just trying to get our work done and keep up with everything. But a break is desperately needed, and I have been meaning to do a post for some time now, so here it is, my first world problems. I hope it doesn't sound whiny, I'm more just trying to make an explanation for my rather long absence from this place. Has anything big happened in the past three weeks that I haven't been paying attention to>
