Beauty of Crimea

Hello and welcome Steemian friends.

This is my first blog entry. I would like to show you the place in which I live and work. I gathered, in my opinion, the most beautiful places and views. Because I'm a wedding photographer, in these photos I'll have grooms and brides :)

The most beautiful sunset in my life. Reflection of light from the sun transformed the color of the sea into a cosmic one. Magic gradients of clouds in the sky, it's all very beautiful.

And, of course, I was not alone here. It was a wedding walk.

A little more photos of other angles. What kind of place is it? This is Cape Fiolent, this location is called Tiger Cape.

The cape itself is the end of the western part of the outer ridge of the Crimean mountains. This is indicated by an unusual rocky coast. As evidenced by archeologists, local rocks and rocks are the remains of an ancient volcano.

Just before we were near the city of Sevastopol, let's now move to the South Coast of Crimea, closer to Yalta, namely to the Vorontsov Palace.

Vorontsov Palace is located in Alupka at the foot of Mount Ai-Petri. Constructed from diabase, which was mined nearby. The palace was built from 1828 to 1848 as the summer residence of the prominent statesman of Russia, Governor-General of the Novorossiysk Territory Count MS Vorontsov. The palace was designed by the English architect Edward Blore. The architect did not come to Alupka, but he was well aware of the terrain.

In the construction of the palace, the work of obsequious serfs from the Vladimir and Moscow provinces was used. The building involved hereditary stone masons and stone cutters, who had experience in building and embossing white stone cathedrals. All work was done manually, with primitive tools.

Going down the park, we will go out to the sea, on the shore lie huge boulders, which adds to the beauty of the sea in the storm.

The Black Sea is the inland sea of the Atlantic Ocean basin. The Bosphorus is connected to the Sea of Marmara by the strait, then, through the Dardanelles - with the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. The Kerch Strait connects with the Azov Sea. From the north into the sea the Crimean peninsula is crashed deeply. On the surface of the Black Sea is the water boundary between Europe and Asia.

The area of the Black Sea is 422,000 km². The outlines of the Black Sea resemble an oval with the largest axis of about 1150 km. The greatest length of the sea from north to south is 580 km. The greatest depth is 2210 m, the average depth is 1240 m.

And this is Ai-Petri mountain, 1234 m above sea level. The name Ai-Petri is of Greek origin and is translated as "Saint Peter".

From the top you can see Yalta and Alupka. You can get to the top by cable car or by car on a serpentine.

Next stop, our seasonal Crimean Provence. During the flowering of lavender, there are always a lot of people here, everyone is photographed as if there will not be any fields next year :)

In the stems and leaves of lavender there is a small amount of essential oil that contains borneol and geraniol. Essential oil, obtained from lavender, is an excellent drug standard. It is used in cosmetology, perfumery and many other industrial areas.

And in the Crimea you can see the winter in the summer. It's all thanks to the salt lakes. It seems like everything is covered with a layer of snow, but it's all salt.

Not everyone in Crimea has a sea nearby, some do not mind swim in the lake. Not far from Simferopol there is a lake. He is called emerald because of the color of the water. In general, this is an abandoned quarry where the breed was mined.

Another beautiful lake nearby in the village of Nauchnoe. It is in the forest and not everyone will find a way to it

General beaches, many bays one after another. It's not crowded, this place is far from the cities, so it's almost untouched and very beautiful. There are legends that it is named so because here during the USSR rest generals and other high-ranking military officials. But in fact, here was based the point of the general of the engineering troops, whose task was to create an atomic bomb.

Mangup-Kale is one of several cave cities that were built under Byzantium, to protect the northern borders, on the territory of the Crimean peninsula. The historical name is Baba-Dag, Father-Mountain. The capital of the principality Theodoro (Crimean Gothia), then the Turkish fortress. Located on the top of the mountain-ostanca, towering above the level of the surrounding valleys at 250 m, and above sea level at 583 m and forming a plateau with an area of about 90 hectares.

Park Aivazovsky was laid back in the 60's ⅩⅩ century. Then here were planted pine, cypress, cedar and several other species of plants.
Awake park Aivazovsky is an olive grove, whose age exceeds 200 years. This part of the park has great acoustics, that's why musical evenings are held here. By the way, in the park in 2011, Jennifer Lopez was performing.

The richness of the vegetation of the park Aivazovsky is very impressive. Here grows more than three hundred species of trees and shrubs. Cedar, pine and various relic plantations form landscapes of unique beauty. The pride of the park is a giant sequoiaendron, which in itself resembles a fairy-tale sculpture. Park Aivazovsky divided into several parts, each of which has its own name.

Perhaps this will be the end of my first part about the places of the Crimea. I have not been where I was, I'll try to catch up and show it.

I hope you were interested.
