Yellow eyed spotted hoverfly was seen in my lawn on the flower plant. Sirphids, often known as hoverflies, are flies that resemble wasps or bees on the outside. Human creations are completely safe and beneficial to nature, as they serve as pollinators for flowering plants. It's very easy to mix them up with their stinging cousins. However, there are some traits that can help you tell the difference between a harmless fly and a dangerous wasp.
