I worked on a documentary that featured a family of Kazakh eagle hunters sometime back. Just thought I'd share some pictures. It is strange yet beautiful that these pictures, though taken fairly recently, can almost be a picture from centuries ago too. Heartened to know that the tradition is still very much cherished and celebrated in these areas.

And it was such a surreal journey across those vast lands. It was a calm soothing kind of silence, plenty of mental space to reflect on the awesomeness of nature :)
