Sunday Photography -Testing Out My New Lens - Canon EF-M 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM

Happy Sunday , mine is about to end. I recently got a new lens for my canon M50 as I only got the stock lens. If I had bought the dual lens kit,( which most people don’t) I woulda had this lens already. The lens is the Canon EF-M 18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM. I carried it on a field test today and here are the results. (Oh but aren’t you the co-founder of reggaesteem, shouldn’t you be posting only reggae stuff? ) SMH, I am many things in life lol.

Really love this shot. The spider kinda posed for the cam. I had to take a couple shots well, find the right angle and focus the lens a couple times to get em perfectly..

Wth is the dude fishing for in this stream? I have no clue. I actually know him, he didn’t see me though.

I wasn’t too far from the dove on the ground ( can you see it) but the zoom wasn’t that fantastic).

Now here’s where I was impressed. No Zoom

Full Zoom, not bad at all, take a look back at the pic above to spot the cranes.

Went to a sports park so the twins could ride their bikes without worrying about cars. I popped into this baseball game to test out the lens. No Zoom.

FULL ZOOM No not bad at all. I was expecting to see the guys face but I guess that will take a more powerful lens

Yeah I actually do spend time with my family. I used to feel like I should be doing work when I’m chilling with them, but these days I’ve learnt how to just block out everything when I’m arround them. Well I’m getting there....

The lens is pretty good. I kinda expected a more powerful zoom though it’s not bad at all. The size and weight are perfect. Doesn’t feel like a bazooka in your hand, more like a uzi. If you are planing to buy a Canon M50 I suggest you just get the dual lens set if you can because you are gonna end up buying another lens eventually. The stock lens is perfect for videos and a bit of photography but a good zoom lens makes the world of a difference.
