Two photos from Naroydalen valley

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

Breathtaking view of Nærøydalen valley and Kjelfossen waterfall from Stalheimskleiva. During our Scandinavian trip in 2016, we'd had a drive on this picturesque road the second time. It was a warm sunny day, and we walked around a bit enjoying the views.

We've been there the first time in 2013 during "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. This part of the journey we'd made by bus. It was the scariest part of that trip because we'd never experienced the serpentines before and the buses are big on these very narrow roads. That day was moody and rainy. We'd just made a shortstop and I even didn't go out of the bus. So I shoot right through the window.

Stalheimskleiva is the name of the 1.5-km-long stretch of road that winds its way up the mountainside from the end of the Nærøydalen vall

No doubt brilliant camera with brilliant hands

Hello @dmytrokorol! Thank you very much for sharing this awesome view with the Steemit-Community. It's awesome to see how the same place changes throughout the seasons. I haven't been to Norway yet, you just made me wanna go there. What a like about your work is the composition of your shot, although I think that you meant a little too well with the saturation. From my point of view that would not have been necessary, because the place is awesome as it is :) Nevertheless, I'll follow you and hope to see more of your great work in the future! Have a nice day!!

It looks like there are several smaller valleys one after another, but connected. Nice post, Dmytro.
