Some street art from Montevideo, Uruguay.

in photography •  7 years ago

Today I had a very long and exciting day. A good friend came from Buenos Aires to visit me, and we went to Montevideo to see the Carnival celebrations there. It was a lot of fun, but before we got to actually see the Carnival, we walked A LOT around the city. These are just some of the graffitis we found in our walk.

It feels really good to be a tourist in your own country/city. Giving a friend a guided tour is a great way to get out and appreciate those things that tourists love to see, that are actually really nice, but we locals don`t pay much attention to since we take them for granted.
