So today is the day the family property gets listed, and while I realize it could take time- perhaps even a lot of time- before it sells, this is certainly the first step of farewell.
I could think of no better way to say it then with sunset photos, something Seneca Lake is revered for. It's not just the beautiful skies, it's the magnificent way the colors reflect off the water.

I still have one of your photos across tge water as tge screensaver on my laptop but I might have to update it. Some of tgr images,especislly in the previous two pists are absolutely stunning. Their beauty matched only by that of the photographer. :)

Actually, I just posted an original yesterday that might resonate for you. I wrote it about that terrible bus accident with the hockey team that made international news - but it actually happened really close to where I live, so it's a local tragedy.
