For many years I was a forest fire fighter in British Columbia Canada. It was a fulfilling yet very challenging job in more ways than you can imagine. Being away from friends and family for weeks or months at a time, your personal life can take a significant toll.
This photo was taken near the beginning of my career, west of Williams Lake, near the British Columbian desert.
