Black-winged stilt [💰 50% SBD back + 🏆 up to 25% lucky upvote]

This little bird is cosmopolitan species and is normally applied to the widespread form from Eurasia and Africa to Americas. This one I captured by my camera in Galapagos.

The breeding habitat of all these stilts is marshes, shallow lakes and ponds. Some populations are migratory and move to the ocean coasts in winter. Those in warmer regions are generally resident or short-range vagrants.
