Finally Another Color And Another Flower On My Balcony

This is a rescue flower, or a rescue leaf I took last year from one of the supermarkets. It was June 22. I had to wait almost one year to see it blooming. It's the hardest period but today I'd say it worth waiting.

I'm very happy to see this flower, which seems to be pink but in fact it's dark red with white. My camera is cheating. After royal blue, light blue, pink and white this is a nice change.

This is the other surprise of the day, another flower on my balcony. It looks like a gazania daisy and acts like a gazania. I was uncertain of it because it's way taller than the ones I had last year and the year before. Besides, the flower is way smaller but still, it's a gazania.

I am forced to guess because the seeds were mixed seeds and there were many type of flowers on the pack but I only got two.

The other is not flowering yet but it has buds already. Judging from what I can see, I believe it's a cockscomb but that remains to be seen. I'll be back with photos.
