I couldn't sleep last night so I was going through some old pictures and I came across these black and white shots, taken back in 2013. I think I had just gotten myself the Nikkor 35mm 1.8G lens and was testing it out for different things. I love the light and depth this lens has. I'm on the look out for a wider lens with the same kind of performance, but they seem to run veeery expensive, and my level of photography can't justify buying a lens more expensive than the camera itself.

Keep coming back to this one. When I first looked at the pictures only, it was like they were telling a story and I can somehow get lost in its atmosphere...
As for the "expensive" Lens... in my opinion, your level of photography definitely justifies the purchase. Plus, the lenses usually keep their value much more than the body of a camera. So, DO IT!

I have an older canon 20d.. I think you can get the body for 20 Euro on ebay now. The lenses were a much better investment. "Unfortunately" I switched to Nikon and had to sort of start over. If you have plans to stay with the brand, you can't do anything wrong with getting the lens.
Crypto goes up and down, so in a few days it will be right for sure :-) Plus, you know you need the lens NOW, when the days are getting longer while you still can take pictures of the awesome winter landscapes! ⛄️ ❄️ 🌬 💨
